We are seeking an experienced Coding Manager. Must be Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or CCS with 2-5 years of supervisory experience. Must possess good communication and problem solving skills. Must be comfortable interacting with employees, medical staff and customers. Must be proficient in Windows.
Responsible for the management of the coding and data abstracting functions for the Medical Center. Ensures timely and accurate coding and abstracting of inpatient and outpatient medical records. Works closely with Patient Accounts and Finance departments in auditing, researching and resolving coding/billing issues. Performs quality audits on all types of records as well as providing training/education for coding staff. .
